Are you feeling low? Are you too stressed to think straight? Sometimes you just don’t feel good but here are some techniques to totally boost and make you feel great in less time! Happiness is the medicine of everything, live up your life and always feel good, you’ll be surprised to see that few changes in life would totally get you moving up!
Give Happiness!
Give happiness to others and you will achieve happiness too. This should be your number one thing. Here are some ways to do that.
- Help the needy, give charity, old clothes or anything that you have to those who deserve it or desperately need it.
- Give someone a cuddle, a tight hug!
- Smile, this changes a lot! Others will think you’re a good person and you will feel good too.
- Tickle a baby and say something nice to someone
- Give cards, poems or friendship quotes to your friends. Inspirational things work best!
As everyone says, you are what you eat. Eat healthy and live healthy but here you’ll find some unhealthy pleasures too; you shouldn’t eat them too much but a little will help you feel good.
- Breakfast is the one meal you should never skip. Research shows that people who regularly take a good breakfast have an enhanced memory, concentration, power, energy.
- Healthy, yummy, and happiness containing – fruits. That’s all you need.
- Eat ice-cream, especially chocolate or vanilla which will boost happiness levels but try not to eat too much as they are unhealthy.
- Bake yourself some cookies, brownies or cakes. The scent from them is very affective.
- Make a jug of lemonade with crushed ice! Refreshing!
- Vitamin C is excellent to boost your energy levels. Oranges contain this.
There are many other ways to feel good, what’ll keep you boosted up with lots of energy and fun.
- Hang inspirational poems or quotes in your room, it’ll sure make you feel good and will make the room look pretty too.
- Some scents make you feel good too. You can put some scents in your room. You can put potpourri, hang air-fresheners, keep a bottle of your favorite scent /perfume but the best work the scented candles. Vanilla, lavender, and mint are some soothing and feeling good scents. Hmmm……
- Plant indoor flowers in your room for positive energy.
- Put on your favourite CD and bop’ til you drop. Not only will you stay fit but will also feel good.
- Open your mouth and start to scream – silently. Force the air out without making any noise. I helps your face muscles relax and calm your body.
- Walk in the early morning sunshine, when the sun level is a little down to boost your serotine livels, the chemical which makes you feel good. Don’t forget to wear sun-screen and sun-glasses!
- See the senset, sunrise, the stars, the clouds changing, then pray.
- Walk in the rain
- Get up 15 minutes earlier
- Avoid tight fitting clothes
- Dont rely on your memory, write it down
- Say ‘no’ more often
- Avoid negative people or people who make you stressed
- Have a long, relaxed bubble bath!
- Look at problems as challenges
- Believe in yourself
- Feed the birds and cats, they pray for you
- Give water to the plants, they pray for you
- Keep a journal, when you share your worries on your journal, your heart will feel much better.
- Get enough sleep. Yup, it’s pretty important. Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. This old saying is true but unfortunately no one follows it. If you follow this rule and go to sleep at 9 then you won’t be late to school, won’t have under-eye circles to bother you, and you won’t feel sleepy and tired the whole day.
Thinking positively is the most important step to feel good. Think positively about people and positive things will happen to you. Write a list of the positive things in your life and every day sit in front of the mirror and think of at least three things to be positive about.
- One thing that you like about yourself.
- One thing that makes you happy.
- One thing that your really lucky to have, like a friend or a pet.
