School is probably the most important part in childhood life. Yes, having a school journal from the start is defiantly a good idea. It would keep you updated with everything - school. Each grade, you can make another school journal.
You can start by adding the 'grades' or 'marks' page. This is where you write how many marks or grade you got from each and every test or exam. Also note down the average, highest, lowest marks in class. Next time, try to get better marks then before and write them down too.
You can add tips, techniques, ideas for achieving goals at school or any other thing too. You can also had the donts, you can also write down your important experiences. These will help you next year as well. If you have a study time-table at your school, note that down in your school journal too. Another good idea is to team up with a friend, and challenge him/her to who can achieve that goal better, it is discovered that competition makes it better to achieve goals. Discover you weaknesses and work on them.
A school journal may also consist of worksheets, circulars or things to remember. That would keep all of them in place.
Also note down, the things required for school like stationary items and books.
Prepair for events, events could be exams. Prepair for each exam, write how good your preparation is, how you prepared, how much time it took to prepair. Write the result too. The same way you can do with sports or a speech.
Ask someone to help you for your exams, most probably a friend who is good at studies. See in the next test results if you got any improvement by their help or just notice if you are getting the concept, if yes, then try to study from them frequently, if no, then find someone else who can help you.
If you have been successful in doing something at school, note down that too and how many times if possible. For example if you have been chosen for the basket ball team, or got 90% marks, or became a broadcaster 2 times.
Review your school journal daily and you can be successful.
